Doddly is an iOS and Android application designed to help you track your daily hydration, log the water you drink, set a personal goal, and follow your progress through a virtual companion (Doddly) that reacts to your hydration level. The app works entirely offline and does not require account creation.
The user agrees to use Doddly solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, and not to:
All content in the app, including design, graphics, the Doddly character, code, and icons, is protected by copyright and remains the exclusive property of the developer. Copying or distribution is prohibited without permission.
All hydration data, settings, and preferences entered by the user remain stored exclusively on the device. Doddly does not collect, retain, or transmit any user content.
Doddly is a support tool for building the habit of proper hydration. Doddly does not give medical advice: it is solely a personal tracking indicator, not a medical device, and it does not provide diagnosis, medical advice, or personalized health recommendations. The app's goals and reminders are generic and indicative. Before following any fluid intake goal, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition (kidney disease, heart conditions, or other conditions requiring fluid control), consult your doctor.
If you choose to enter your weight, biological sex, age, and activity level during setup, Doddly uses that data to suggest a more personalized hydration goal. To do this, we took inspiration from the general guidance published by EFSA (the European Food Safety Authority) on water intake, and from ESPEN for the age-related adjustment. The exact coefficients we use in the calculation are our own design choice, inspired by these sources — they're not figures reproduced identically from any official body, so the suggested goal remains indicative, not a clinical value.
If you'd rather not enter this data, that's totally fine: Doddly will still suggest a reasonable default goal, which you can change anytime from Settings.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. The developer is not responsible for:

The Terms may be updated in the future. The most recent version will always be available online via the link published on the App Store and Google Play Store.
Use of the app is permitted for users aged 16 or older, or as required by local regulations.
